Amending Title 14 Zoning Code of The Philadelphia Code, Sections 14-409 entitled "SP-CIV, Civic, Educational, and Medical (Special Purpose) District," and amending Title 14-602 entitled "Use Tables," by allowing Religious Assembly uses in certain Special Purpose districts, all under certain terms and conditions.

Amending Title 14 Zoning Code of The Philadelphia Code, Sections 14-409 entitled “SP-CIV, Civic, Educational, and Medical (Special Purpose) District,” and amending Title 14-602 entitled “Use Tables,” by allowing Religious Assembly uses in certain Special Purpose districts, all under certain terms and conditions. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: * * * TITLE 14. ZONING AND PLANNING * * * CHAPTER 14-400. BASE ZONING DISTRICTS * * * § 14-409. SP-CIV, Civic, Educational, and Medical (Special Purpose) District. * * * (5) Parking and Loading (a) [There shall be no minimum parking requirements, provided that, where parking is provided, it shall conform to the other requirements of Chapter 14-800 , as if those provisions applied directly.] Parking for Religious Assembly uses shall be provided at 1 space per ten seats or 1 space for 1,000 square feet of occupied building space, whichever is greater. No other uses shall have minimum parking requirements, provided that, where parking is provided, it shall conform to the other requirements of Chapter 14-800 , as if those provisions applied directly.
