Approving the appointment of William Snyder, Jr., as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority. WHEREAS, Mayor Cherelle L. Parker has nominated William Snyder, Jr., to be a member of the Board of the Philadelphia Housing Authority pursuant to Section 5(c)(2) of the Housing Authorities Law, Act of May 28, 1937, P.L. 955, No. 265, as amended by the Act of July 5, 2012, P.L. 1093, No. 130 (53 P.S. § 1545); and WHEREAS, Section 5 of the Housing Authorities Law requires the approval of a majority of the members of the Council for the appointment of members to the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, Hereby approves the appointment of William Snyder, Jr., as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority, with a term ending January 3, 2028.
