Approving the reappointment of Lynette M. Brown-Sow as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority. WHEREAS, Mayor Cherelle L. Parker has reappointed Lynette M. Brown-Sow to be a member of the Board of the Philadelphia Housing Authority pursuant to Section 5(c)(2) of the Housing Authorities Law, Act of May 28, 1937, P.L. 955, No. 265, as amended by the Act of July 5, 2012, P.L. 1093, No. 130 (53 P.S. § 1545); WHEREAS, Section 5 of the Housing Authorities Law requires the approval of a majority of the members of the Council for the appointment of members to the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Council hereby approves the reappointment of Lynette M. Brown-Sow as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority.
