Repealing Resolution No. 250586 (adopted May 29, 2025) which also named the 1500 block of Girard Avenue as "Alphonso Deal Way."

Repealing Resolution No. 250586 (adopted May 29, 2025) which also named the 1500 block of Girard Avenue as “Alphonso Deal Way.” WHEREAS, Resolution No. 250586 left out pertinent information regarding the life and legacy of Alphonso Deal; and WHEREAS, A new Resolution will be introduced today to rename the 1500 block of Girard Avenue as “Alphonso Deal Way”; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Resolution No. 250586 is repealed in its entirety.
