Authorizing the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into a multi-year lease agreement with the Fairmount Park Conservancy, under which the City would lease to the Conservancy portions of the City-owned premises known as Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park for the Conservancy's use, operation, management, maintenance, and repair, all under certain terms and conditions.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into a multi-year lease agreement with the Fairmount Park Conservancy, under which the City would lease to the Conservancy portions of the City-owned premises known as Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park for the Conservancy’s use, operation, management, maintenance, and repair, all under certain terms and conditions. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to enter into a multi-year lease agreement with the Fairmount Park Conservancy, under which the City will lease to the Conservancy portions of the City-owned premises known as Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park, located at 1500 Pattison Avenue and South Broad Street, for the Conservancy’s use, operation, management, maintenance, and repair, pursuant to certain terms and conditions set forth in the document attached hereto as Exhibit A. SECTION 2. The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation is hereby authorized to take all actions deemed by the Commissioner to be necessary and appropriate to carry out the provisions and intent of this Ordinance, including executing all instruments and ancillary documents necessary and appropriate for the City to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance.
