Honoring the Saint Hubert’s Catholic High School for Girls’ soccer team for winning the 2025 Philadelphia Catholic League Championship. WHEREAS, The Saint Hubert’s Bambies have demonstrated exceptional determination, resilience, and teamwork in capturing the 2025 Philadelphia Catholic League Soccer Championship, ending a 23-year drought and bringing immense pride to their school and the Northeast Philadelphia community; and WHEREAS, On October 25th, under the guidance of first-year head coach Shawn Wimsey, the team faced the Archbishop Wood Vikings, the four-time defending champions, at Saint Joseph’s University; and WHEREAS, The game was one of defensive excellence, with goalkeeper Quin Miller having a total of 11 saves and Bridie Musial scored the team’s lone goal in regulation time; and WHEREAS, The Bambies demonstrated exceptional resilience and competitive spirit in their championship victory over Archbishop Wood High School that came down to triple overtime and a shootout where Grace Smith, Luca D’Andrea, Saige Primavera, Kady Donnelly and Riley Rosener scored 5 consecutive goals; and WHEREAS, This legislative body recognizes the Saint Hubert’s Bambies for their historic achievement and commends their ability to represent their school and community with excellence, dignity and determination; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, Hereby honors and congratulates the Saint Hubert’s Catholic High School for Girls’ soccer team on their…
