Parker III, CEO Dr. William Hayes, and Zachary Paris, Director of Early College and Career Programming, for their leadership and commitment to student success. WHEREAS, Boys’ Latin of Philadelphia Charter School, located in the City of Philadelphia, has demonstrated a strong commitment to preparing young men for success through rigorous academic programming, leadership development, and a focus on college and career readiness; and WHEREAS, Through its Early College and Career Programming, Boys’ Latin has created a pathway for students to earn college credits and degrees while still enrolled in high school, expanding access to higher education and reducing barriers for young people across the City; and WHEREAS, Out of approximately forty students participating in this program, five young men, Jeremiah Roach, Dylan Adkins, Aidan Marion, Khalif Barakat-Cooper, and Marquise Floyd-Reid, have distinguished themselves by earning their associate degrees prior to receiving their high school diplomas, a significant academic accomplishment that reflects discipline, focus, and perseverance; and WHEREAS, This achievement not only represents individual excellence, but also serves as…
