Recognizing Stephen “Scooter” Fulton Jr.’s outstanding achievements and contributions to the boxing community and his unwavering dedication to the City of Philadelphia. WHEREAS, Stephen Fulton Jr. is a professional American boxer nicknamed “Cool Boy Steph,” who has held world championships in two different weight classes. He was born on July 17 th , 1994, in North Philadelphia. Raised by a single mother, surrounded by street violence and lost childhood friends, he was inspired to take a different route in life. Fulton Jr. has made an impact on the boxing community, paving the way for future generations and shining a spotlight on the city of Philadelphia. Fulton Jr. is known for his aggressive fighting style and is considered one of the best young fighters in boxing, having a record of 23 wins and 1 loss; and WHEREAS, Fulton Jr. has received numerous awards and recognition throughout his life for his role in the boxing community and his contributions to City of Philadelphia. He has held the World Boxing Council (WBC) featherweight title since February 2025 and the unified World Boxing Organization (WBO) and WBC super bantamweight titles from 2021 to 2023.
