Honoring and congratulating Chef Kyle Timpson for winning Season 23 of Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen. WHEREAS, Kyle Timpson was born in Dennis Township, NJ near Cape May, and moved to North Philadelphia in 2021 after graduating from Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College; and WHEREAS, Timpson has loved cooking since he was a child, faithfully watching the Food Network when he was six and learning how to make ravioli from his now 101-year-old grandmother. Growing up, he developed a passion for fishing, farming seasonal ingredients, and the culinary arts, taking pastry classes at Cape May County Technical High School and earning multiple accolades for his food and presentation skills while in culinary arts school; and WHEREAS, Timpson began his career in seasonal restaurants on the Jersey Shore before moving to Philadelphia to expand his expertise. He has held roles as Chef de Cuisine aboard the Moshulu, and Senior Sous Chef at the Four Seasons. His experience also includes staging at some of the top restaurants in the country, further refining his craft; and WHEREAS, In 2024, Kyle competed on Hell’s Kitchen and won, proving his talent on one of the world’s toughest culinary stages and earning himself $250,000 and the head chef job at the Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, where the show’s 23rd season was shot; and WHEREAS, Timpson, the first openly gay male winner of Hell’s Kitchen , defeated runner-up Hannah…
