Amending Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Designation of Bicycle Lanes,” to authorize a bicycle lane on Woodland Avenue from Chester Avenue to South 42 nd Street and make associated changes to parking regulations within the same limits, all under certain terms and conditions. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows: TITLE 12. TRAFFIC CODE * * * CHAPTER 12-700. BICYCLE LANES * * * § 12-701. Designation of Bicycle Lanes. * * * (2) The Department is authorized to designate a bicycle lane upon the following streets and regulate the operation and use of vehicles and bicycles upon such streets in a manner consistent with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) regulations: * * * (*) Woodland Avenue, from Chester Avenue to South 42nd Street: One bicycle lane in each direction, and the removal of a parking lane on the south side of the street within the same limits. * * * SECTION 2. All existing street specific parking regulations on the following street is hereby terminated: Woodland Avenue, south side, from Chester Avenue to South 42nd Street. SECTION 3. The following parking regulations are hereby established: Woodland Avenue, south side, from Chester Avenue to South 42nd Street.
