Amending Chapter 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Designation of Bicycle Lanes," to authorize a bicycle lane on North 22nd Street, from Spring Garden Street to Green Street and remove a travel lane on North 22nd Street within the same limits, all under certain terms and conditions

Thanking SEPTA for expanding its high fare gate pilot program to combat fare evasion by installing 100 full length fare gates at nine SEPTA stations across the City of Philadelphia.

Calling on the Department of Licenses and Inspections to halt any potential demolition plans to the iconic Joe Frazier's Gym on North Broad Street; and calling on the City of Philadelphia, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, and all other associated parties to identify alternative uses for Joe Frazier's Gym.

Thanking Temple University for becoming the first university in the Philadelphia region to deploy gun detection technology to boost safety.

Amending Title 15 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Parks and Recreation," by adding a new Section 15-606 and new Section 15-706 to establish animal-free areas and provide for the management of animals in parks, playgrounds, and recreation centers and to provide for penalties and enforcement, all under certain terms and conditions.

Thanking the Pennsylvania General Assembly for passing Act 103, the "Putting the Brakes on Street Racing" bill

To amend the Philadelphia Zoning Maps by changing the zoning designations of certain areas of land located within an area bounded by Erie Avenue, 9th Street, Hutchinson Street, Ontario Street, Sedgley Street, 6th Street, Glenwood Avenue, and Broad Street

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into a sublease agreement with the Philadelphia Municipal Authority, for use by the City of a portion of the premises located at 30 S. 15th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, under certain terms and conditions.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into a sublease agreement with the Philadelphia Municipal Authority, for use by the City of a portion of the premises located at 1600-26 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, under certain terms and conditions.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to acquire fee simple title or a lesser real estate interest by purchase, dedication, donation, condemnation, agreement in lieu of condemnation, or otherwise, in and to all or portions of a certain parcel of land known as 923 W. Butler Street, under certain terms and conditions.

Authorizing the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Land Bank deeds conveying title to 1517 W. Stiles Street and 1518 W. Stiles Street, located in the 5th Councilmanic District, pursuant to the requirements of the Commonwealth Land Bank Act.

Authorizing the Council Committee on Streets and Services to hold hearings to investigate the practice of "courtesy towing" by the Philadelphia Police Department, the Philadelphia Parking Authority, and private towing companies.

Honoring and congratulating the NAACP Philadelphia ACT-SO Olympians for winning ten gold medals at the National NAACP ACT-SO Competition in Las Vegas.

Recognizing October 14, 2024 as "Indigenous Peoples' Day" in the City of Philadelphia, honoring and commemorating the achievements, traditions, and contributions of American Indians, also known as "Indigenous peoples."

Honoring, recognizing, and congratulating President Jimmy Carter for his historic 100th birthday.

Recognizing the week of October 6th through October 12th as "Emergency Nurses Week" in the City of Philadelphia.

Joining the City of Pittsburgh in calling on Congress to pass H.R. 9002, the "Revitalizing Downtowns and Main Streets Act".

Honoring the life and legacy of internationally renowned jazz legend Benny Golson.

Authorizing the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Land Bank deeds conveying titles to 2917 Cecil B. Moore Avenue, 2919 Cecil B. Moore Avenue, 2937 Cecil B. Moore Avenue, and 2939 Cecil B. Moore Avenue, located in the Fifth Councilmanic District, pursuant to the requirements of the Commonwealth Land Bank Act.
